My blog title today says it all – it was a nice quiet Sunday, the first day of June and it was pretty much a mid-summer’s day weather wise. We took advantage of it by going for our daily hike nice and early instead of waiting until mid-afternoon when it was bound to be up into the 70’s. We left home at 10am and drove out to one of the Cowichan River trailheads where we ended up taking a 2hr trail that took us along the banks of Holt Creek as well as the Cowichan and Koksilah Rivers.
