Top 10 USA Airports For Nutbars Carrying Guns

The further south you are at an airport in the USA the greater the chance is you may end up on a flight with a nutbar carrying a loaded gun onto your flight. At least that’s the conclusion to be drawn from the information the TSA has just released about firearm discoveries at TSA checkpoints for 2014.  In total, 2,212 guns were discovered in carry-on bags with Dallas Fort Worth having the dubious honour of leading the nut parade with 120.  No surprise to me to hear Texas out front hear.

Just a few of the 2,212 firearms your seatmates tried to fly with in 2014.guns

2,212 firearms were discovered in carry-on bags at checkpoints across the country, averaging more than six firearms per day. Of those, 2,212 (83 percent) were loaded. Firearms were intercepted at a total of 224 airports; 19 more airports than last year. There was a 22 percent increase in firearm discoveries from last year’s total of 1,813.  Do these nutbars really not know that guns are not allowed on airplanes?

What every passenger needs for “self-defense” on a flight – an assault rifleDAL Assault Rifle

Some joker tried to carry on a loaded assault rifle in Dallas!  This brings a whole new meaning to “fly the friendly skies”.
