Our Windows XP, Vista, 7 & 8 workshop will meet Tuesday June 11 at 7 pm. Will show you how to talk to your computer and it will talk back. Then we will demonstrate Windows Live Mail, your email program may be similar:
EMAILS: HOW TO:
1. Automatically check for messages.
2. Change the font and size used in reading messages.
3. Change the font and size sending messages.
4. Add preset Signatures to your emails.
5. Automatically Spell Checking your emails.
6. Click on Read Receipt, get an email when the person you sent an email opens it.
7. Insert a photo into your email.
10. Add Contacts.
11. Put several email addresses in a folder so you may click on the folder and your whole group will receive an email.
12. Save your email addresses to a CD or Thumb Drive.
13. Copy a photo from an email or web site
14. Use the Snipping Tool to send an email by Gene Wheeler
15. Enlarge and diminish a photo.
16. How to setup the Calendar.

Windows 8.1 update will address user complaints
1. The Start button is back—but the Start menu isn’t.
2. Add search capabilities.
3. Let users set their machines to run the desktop as a default.
4.Let you tweak the start screen’s tiles.
It will release a test version of the Windows update on June 26. The company will ship the final product later this year as a free update for Windows 8 customers.

Thanks Joe, I finally got around to downloading the OpenOffice Suite and it more than covers my needs. LOL It has things on here that I have no idea how to use but I just wanted to be able to type a letter and print it, so I'm good to go! Thanks for taking the time to help me.
